What is Amigos Foundation?

Amigos Foundation is a non-profit organization empowering Latino families through educational programs, classes and positive environments. We provide information, resources and programs that create pathways to navigate and understand living in this country.

Amigos Foundation advocates for all Latino families in Memphis and is committed to create programs that celebrate, honor and energize the Latino culture and advocacy for the Hispanic community in the Mid South.

Why Amigos Foundation?

Ivette Butron is a passionate entrepreneur and social activist who has dedicated herself to help the Latino community. She is the proud owner of Butron Media, a digital marketing agency that provides communication solutions. But her commitment to the Latino community goes beyond her business. To support and uplift Hispanic families, she founded the Amigos Foundation.

With the Amigos Foundation, Ivette aims to provide resources and support to Latino families, especially those who face the challenges of immigration, language barriers, and discrimination. Through the Foundation, Ivette works tirelessly to create programs that provide education, health, and financial assistance to the Hispanic community. Her unwavering determination and belief that the Latino community can thrive and succeed have become the driving forces for her success. Ivette Butron is a true advocate for the Hispanic community and is making a significant impact with her work in advocacy and philanthropy.

How do we get funding?

We work and get funds for the nonprofit by selling advertising packages for small companies and businesses in Memphis. Depending on what the event the package is for, the costumers receive advertising on both of our radio stations and all of our social media platforms.

All of the money made from this advertising is used to buy backpacks for our Back to School event along with coats and toys for our Toy Drive for children each year.

The costumer receives twice the value of their money by receiving advertising along with a donation receipt from Amigos Foundation that lets the community know their business is a sponsor and supporter to the Hispanic and Latino community in the Mid-South.
